Wales Millennium Centre
What: In Cardiff Bay, you'll find one of Wales’ most attractive-looking arts venues: the Wales Millennium Centre (sometimes referred to as WMC). It has entertainment on the daily. At any time, you might catch a touring musical, opera, dance performance, comedy routine or art exhibition.

New Theatre
What: The New Theatre is a large-scale traditional Edwardian theatre, seating just over 1000 people. It’s the city's oldest theatre.

What: Chapter is one of Europe's largest and most dynamic multi-discipline arts centres. There are three theatres, two cinemas, an art gallery, studios, a cafe bar and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The programme of events spans everything from the mainstream to the very obscure.

The Gate
What: A community-based arts centre in a Grade 2 listed building. Has with a varied programme of performances and creativity, as well as exhibition space and a café bar.

Clwb Ifor Bach
What: Also known as ‘Clwb’ and ‘Welsh Club’, this multi-floor live music venue and alternative nightclub supports small to medium size bands and artists. Fun fact: it's one of Huw Stephens' favourite places in Cardiff!

The Moon
What: A non-profit music venue, bar and club that hosts gigs, club nights and music community events. It's usually one of the venues used for the annual Sŵn Festival.

Cardiff Students' Union: The Great Hall and Y Plas
What: Two live music venues located within Cardiff University's Students Union building, open to students and non-students alike. The Great Hall holds 1500 people across a single-level room, while Y Plas holds up to 1200 people and has a club-style layout.

National Museum Cardiff

St Fagans National Museum of History
What: St Fagans is one of Europe's leading open-air museums, where you can literally walk through Wales' history. Over 50 notable buildings from across the country have been taken apart and rebuilt brick-by-brick to create a historical village that shows visitors Wales' past.

Norwegian Church Arts Centre
What: A unique venue that once served as a church for Norwegian sailors visiting Cardiff. Today it’s a hub for arts and culture, offering exhibitions, performances and events. Entry to the church is free, and it’s open every day.
