Chris Knight, author of award-winning blogging site 'Oh What a Knight', shares his adventure fuelled day in Llangollen.
In the morning, Chris enjoys a leisurely two hour canoe trip along the calm waters of the Llangollen Canal with Bearded Men Adventures, although the adrenaline kicks in paddling across the impressive Pontcysyllte Aqueduct!
His afternoon is spent white water rafting down the River Dee - an absolutely incredible experience with awesome rapids to navigate.
After drying off, Chris heads up high above the valley to the mysterious remains of Castell Dinas Brân. He parked in a layby along the Panorama Walk road, and takes the shorter, but very steep, 700m trail to the top. The effort is worth it for the magnificent views back over Llangollen and towards the aqueduct - and a sensational sunset from the summit. What a perfect end to a brilliant day!
