Chris Knight, author of award-winning blogging site 'Oh What a Knight', shares his adrenaline-fuelled experiences at Zip World Tower in Aberdare. He tries out the exhilarating Phoenix - the world’s fastest seated zip line, and enjoys whizzing down the hillside on the Tower Coaster.
After all that excitement, Chris takes us on a calming walk up Pen Pych Mountain, near Treherbert. This moderate 4km / 2.5 mile hike, starting from Pen Pych Forest Car Park, explores the cool pine tree woods and cascading waterfalls along the way. You'll be rewarded with fabulous views over the Rhondda Fawr Valley and towards the Rhigos Mountain, before heading back the way you came.
