The eyes of the world were on Wales in 2010 when The Twenty Ten Course at Celtic Manor Resort hosted a very special Ryder Cup, and here, just 20 minutes from the Welsh capital, Cardiff and 40 minutes from Cardiff Airport, you will find a further two championship courses.

East along the M4 close to the English border is Marriott St Pierre Country Club, host to both the Solheim and Curtis cups.

West of Cardiff are Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, Southerndown Golf Club, and Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club (P&K), all three must-plays. The final three holes at P&K are considered some of the best closing holes in the game, and the 14th tee offers panoramic views of the Gower Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Closer to Cardiff, The Vale Resort is an ideal base, particularly for the long driver, boasting two championship courses, including one of the longest golf courses outside the US, and an award-winning spa.
