Cardiff Pedal Power Inclusive Cycle Hire

We’re a cycling charity, and our mission is to make cycling inclusive so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of cycling (and the freedom to explore our beautiful city and surrounding areas), including those with disabilities. We have the biggest fleet of standard and accessible cycles in Wales for hire (and one of the largest in the UK), including standard push-bikes, children’s bikes, E-Bikes, trikes and side by sides. We also have child seats and tag-alongs so that the whole family can cycle, as well as helmets and rain-proof ponchos. Our main site is open year-round and is situated in Pontcanna, a short distance from the city centre, and next to the Taff Trail and beautiful parklands of Llandaff Fields, Bute Park and the Castle Grounds. Our second site is in Cardiff Bay, offering seasonal hire in the Spring and Summer months, and a perfect spring-board to explore the Bay and Barrage, as well as neighbouring Penarth and Vale of Glamorgan.

Pontcanna site is situated in Cardiff Caravan Park, offering a beautiful green space where we also have an accessible, relaxed and dog-friendly café, offering teas, coffees and cold drinks as well as a range of locally made cakes and homemade soups, sandwiches, wraps and toasties. There is also an accessible toilet on site.
