The Checkers is perfectly located to explore the market town of Montgomery and the local area.
Walk up to the castle, visit the artisan shops, museums, vineyard and brewery.
Stroll along the River Severn or Offa’s Dyke path (both within walking distance of the restaurant), visit the local golf course or explore the nearby Shropshire Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

All our rates are based on dinner, bed & breakfast for two guests.
If you would like to stay for additional nights we can offer these on a bed and breakfast rate.
If you would like to dine for more than one night we will prepare a new tasting menu especially for you.
We welcome guests to check in from 3pm and kindly ask that guests depart by 11am.
