Sesiwn Fawr 2025 July at Dolgellau

Sesiwn Fawr is an annual festival that attracts thousands of people to Dolgellau to enjoy the best of folk and Welsh music as well as traditional Welsh Dance, literature, children's activities and comedy, food and drink.

Performances across nine stages bringing an eclectic mix of folk, rock and world music to the town.

During the festival, Dolgellau is bursting at the seams with events being held in various venues across the town.

If you’re a musician who would like to play in front of an audience, there will be a busking stage on the Square where you could perform in front of the crowd.

Sesiwn Fawr Dolgellau is proud to be a family and community festival, and there is plenty to keep the little ones entertained. Story time, arts and craft sessions and circus skills workshops can be enjoyed for free over at the ‘Pentre Plant’ (Children’s Area) at Dolgellau Park
