About Beics Brenin - Coed Y Brenin
Hire a bike and explore one of Wales most beautiful forests. Situated to the south of Eryri National Park, Coed y Brenin offers hundreds of miles of signposted bicycle and mountain bike trails with something for all ability levels. Famous for its mountain bike trails, Coed y Brenin was the first dedicated MTB trail centre with permanent signposted routes in the UK.
In 2024, the centre added over 100km of new signposted adventure cycle routes. These new trails are more accessible than the MTB trails and can be ridden on a gravel bike or even a hybrid with suitable tyres.
Beics Brenin has a large fleet of hire bikes that includes bikes suitable for all ages and ability levels from small children's balance and pedal bikes to the very latest EMTB (motor assisted electric mountain bikes). All bikes are available via Beics Brenin's website and booking your hire is quick and easy.
Coed y Brenin offers a great day out for all the family, the 'Minortaur' trail offers what is possibly one of the most enjoyable and accessible beginner MTB trails in the UK, perfect for families and those new to the sport. If you are seeking more challenge, Coed y Brenin "The Beast" is a 36km MTB epic that is a match even for the most experienced of riders.
