About Coedydd Aber National Nature Reserve (Aber Falls)

Coedydd Aber is a National Nature Reserve, seven miles from Bangor.

It is home to the Rhaeadr Fawr waterfall ("big waterfall" in Welsh) which is known locally as Aber Falls.

Climate, geology and human activity have all left their mark here and there is plenty to see on the there-and-back walking trail along the bottom of the valley through woodland to the foot of the waterfall.
