Grade 1 listed 18th century Country House Restaurant and Rooms. Historical surroundings in a secluded peaceful countryside setting in close proximity to the spectacular Cambrian Mountains, three miles from the heritage coat line, restaurants and bars of Aberystwyth.

Enjoy a magazine with a drink by our log fire or one of the many imaginative events and packages that we create in our thirty acres of walled garden, woodland and lake. Experience the history and romance in our original music room or dine in the Nightingale restaurant.

Our suites overlook parkland or walled garden. A four bedroom Mews House with self-catering facilities is also available. We are well known for our afternoon tea’s and it is advisable to book dining in advance.

‘History, Elegance and Romance’ at Nanteos is epitomised by moon lit skies mirrored on the lake. Only the sounds of owls in the woodland behind the house disturb the evening tranquility. If lucky, the occasional nightingale can also be heard.
