New Quay Wales Music Festival - August at New Quay

New Quay Wales Music Festival is a local run music and arts festival taking place in the small fishing town of New Quay, nestled in Cardigan Bay. Started in 1998 by a group of local community members, its aim was to bring people together through the celebration of arts and music.

Since then, the festival has grown to what it has become today. The festival consists of: The Main Stage situated in a central location of the town which has acts performing on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening; The Black Lion Stage which takes place in the Garden of the Black Lion Hotel; The Seafront Stage which takes place during the day on Sunday, with breathtaking views of the bay as its backdrop and many performances happening in and around the town during the whole weekend.
