About Dean Forest Railway
Dean Forest Railway is a popular, family-friendly heritage railway situated in the heart of the Forest of Dean, giving visitors of all ages the chance to experience the atmosphere of a country railway.
Both steam and diesel trains run as part of a regular timetable between Lydney Junction and Parkend, with normal tickets being valid for unlimited travel. Special events are held throughout the year, including popular Days Out With Thomas and Santa Specials, with a luxury dining train and hands-on branch line experience courses also available.
