About Radnorshire Museum

Llandrindod Wells is one of the prettiest Spa towns in Wales and has been visited by people wishing to take the waters for medical problems since Dr Linden's famous treatise in 1756. The Radnorshire Museum tells the history of this development which peaked in late Victorian times.

The Radnorshire Museum houses a large photographic collection dating from late 19th Century to the present. This popular resource is available for research purposes.
The Museum has an events room with full AV system, which is available for hire and is suitable for meetings, lectures and seminars, accommodating a maximum of thirty people.

The Museum has a bookable Research room with reference library including copies of the Radnorshire Society Transactions. It also has a computer with Internet access, a microscope, digital camera, colour printing and scanning equipment.

A shop is located on the ground floor by the reception desk.

The Museum has full disabled access, including a lift. Activities for children can also be provided.
