Oriel Glasfryn Gallery

Situated just off the A55 in the historic town of Caerwys, Oriel Glasfryn Gallery is the only independent art gallery in North East Wales. We opened in 2022 and have quickly become one of the leading galleries in the country.

We showcase the finest original Welsh art and craft including paintings, jewellery, sculpture, glass, textiles, wood and metalwork. Arguably, we have the best selection of Welsh ceramics in the UK.

Our main gallery is open all year (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) and has an ever-changing display of work by around 45 Welsh artists and makers, including a permanent display of Welsh landscape paintings by gallery owner, Dave Roberts.

During our special spring, summer and winter exhibitions there is even more art to enjoy, as that's when we open adjacent Glasfryn Hall and its Victorian gardens. You can even indulge in tea, coffee, ice-cream and cakes on the front lawn, with its wonderful views of the Clwydian Hills.

We are family-owned and family-friendly: we pride ourselves on making art accessible to everyone. Children Dogs are welcome too!

All of the work is for sale and can be bought via interest-free instalments courtesy of the Arts Council of Wales' Collectorplan scheme.
