Wren Cottage, a stylish stable conversion a little over a mile north of Narberth, is perfectly placed for exploring Britain’s largest coastal national park. Packed full of character, it has thick stone walls, low ceilings, and original beams throughout. WiFi and parking available, and well-behaved dogs welcome (1 per booking as Wren Cottage is small).
The space
Small and cosy, the downstairs contains a well-equipped kitchen-living room, while the upstairs houses a double bed and shower room with toilet. Throughout the cottage you can indulge your senses in the beautiful Welsh Myddfai complimentary toiletries.
Stepping out the door you have access to a private potted garden with seating area where you can relax and unwind, read a book, or enjoy your meals, all surrounded by nature. Another seating area within a pergola, and an adjoining arbour seat, are perfectly placed for a sundowner. A gas bbq has been provided for your use, situated in the potted garden area. You also have access to our 2-acre paddock which you are welcome to explore, or use to entertain your dog. Hidden on the edge of the paddock is a camp fire area with a tripod for cooking if you fancy doing something a bit different.
Around the property you might come across our own doggy Meg, our two wandering cats Binx and Betty, or our happy hens.
There is also a laundry room with a washer/dryer, belfast sink and a clothes pulley for those who prefer to dry clothes naturally and also hanging wet gear to dry.
Complimentary home baked goods will be provided for your enjoyment on arrival and these can also be purchased during your stay at Wren, or ordered to take home with you. (Gluten free goodies in welcome pack if notice given) Additional to your welcome goodies you can pre order home made bread for a breakfast treat or cream tea for an afternoon indulgence.
Guest access
A parking space is provided for you here at Wren. Narberth town has a large car park which is very reasonably priced. There are quite a few spaces which allow 1 hour free parking, if you are just nipping into town, and also some free, but time limited, high street parking.
Other things to note
We welcome well behaved, sociable doggies here as there is another holiday cottage on site where doggies are also welcome. We do ask that your much loved pooch is up to date with his/her treatments (fleas and worming) prior to your arrival as the cottage is mostly carpeted and we want them all to enjoy their holiday as much as you. Thank you.
