Horseshoe Cottage is in the perfect location for exploring the delights of Pembrokeshire and beyond. Set within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, we are a short drive from the nearest beach and Coastal Path at Manorbier and well situated for the historic towns of Tenby and Pembroke, Caldey Island, Bosherston Lily Ponds and other wonderful attractions and days out.
The Cottage is part of a 9-acre smallholding down a quiet country lane but is just a short walk away from the local village of Jameston with its two family friendly pubs and weekly Country Market (April - September).
Both the local Train station and bus route are within walking distance.
The bustling village of Manorbier is a further mile away where you will find a well-stocked convenience store & Post Office, the popular Castle Inn, Tea Rooms, Castlemead Restaurant plus the impressive Norman Church and Castle.
Horseshoe Cottage sleeps three people in two bedrooms; one double and one small double. In short, the accommodation comprises: -
Upstairs:
Bedroom 1: double bed (4'6"), chest of drawers, dressing table, wardrobe, countryside views
Bedroom 2: small double bed (4'), chest of drawers, wardrobe, countryside views
Bathroom/shower room: electric shower, toilet, hand basin, shaving point
Downstairs:
Living room: 2 seater settee, 2 armchairs, electric log-effect fire, TV/DVD, books and games
Kitchen/dining area: well equipped kitchen with electric hob, eye-level electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, wooden picnic table and benches to seat 4
Outside:
Horseshoe Cottage is next door to a separate holiday cottage and has shared access to a large garden with picnic table and washing line for guests’ use. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars outside each Cottage.
We also offer a selection of fresh garden produce and free-range eggs for sale throughout the season.
