About Dinas Emyrs, National Trust
Located in Beddgelert, Gwynedd, Dinas Emrys is a National Trust Holidays, studio cottage in the old stable block of Craflwyn Hall. One in a row of cottages, it sits at the heart of a 200-acre estate in the care of the National Trust. The cottages back onto woodland, with walks from the doorstep. The door opens into an open-plan living space with all you need for a simple stay: a cosy place to sleep, a table for two, a fridge and a microwave. The shower room is downstairs too. Head up steep stairs to the mezzanine and you’ll find the sitting area tucked into the roof-space.
For the adventurous Eryri is perfect for hiking and climbing, ascend Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Challenge yourself with various climbing routes and scrambles on mountains like Tryfan. Try kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding, discover a variety of walking trails, from leisurely strolls through villages like Betws-y-Coed to challenging hikes through ancient woodlands. Enjoy unique indoor activities like the Zip World Betws-y-Coed and the Bounce Below experience in Llechwedd slate caverns.

This cottage, and all National Trust holiday cottages in the national park have been awarded silver status in this plastic-free business programme, and we are making changes to work towards gold status.
