Located in Conwy, garden and history lovers will be spoiled here, enchanted by the amazing gardens, and blown away with the history of this wonderful building, which stretches back to the 15th century. A National Trust Holidays property where you can soak up the exposed beams, wood panelled walls and flagstone floors as well as antique pieces of furniture. It’s a great base for groups of friends or families with older children, accommodating up to six guests but due to the historic significance of the building its unfortunately not suitable for children under 12.
For the adventurous Eryri is perfect for hiking and climbing, ascend Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Challenge yourself with various climbing routes and scrambles on mountains like Tryfan. Try kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding, discover a variety of walking trails, from leisurely strolls through villages like Betws-y-Coed to challenging hikes through ancient woodlands. Enjoy unique indoor activities like the Zip World Betws-y-Coed and the Bounce Below experience in Llechwedd slate caverns.
Plastic Free Yr Wyddfa: Plastic Free Yr Wyddfa is an initiative organised by Eryri National Park to protect the mountain’s sustainable future. This cottage, and all National Trust holiday cottages in the national park have been awarded silver status in this plastic-free business programme, and we are making changes to work towards gold status.
