About Braich Melyn, National Trust
Located at Dinas Mawddwy, Dolgellau, Gwynedd and brimming with character, Braich Melyn is a National Trust holiday cottage that sleeps four and provides a perfect country cottage stay. It has many traditional features including an inglenook fireplace giving the cottage a real sense of historic charm. The cottage dates from the 17th-century and its attached barns are still intact, as is the hill farm it’s based on. You will be encompassed by green farmland, grazing livestock and unrivalled views across the valley.
Plastic Free Yr Wyddfa: Plastic Free Yr Wyddfa is an initiative organised by Eryri National Park to protect the mountain’s sustainable future. This cottage, and all National Trust holiday cottages in the national park have been awarded silver status in this plastic-free business programme, and we are making changes to work towards gold status.
