Truly spectacular scenery of Snowdonia surrounds this house in the Cwm Pennant valley. If you are looking to get away from it all and be at one with nature then you really cannot beat this house. Set within its own farmland, this proud farmhouse stands with views of mountains and rivers, making this a very special rural private house. A 3 mile walk will land you at Rhyd Ddu, the starting point for Snowdon - the tallest mountain in England and Wales. Porthmadog, 8 miles away, has a variety of shops and good eating places, two narrow gauge railways with steam engines, a golf course and pretty harbour. Beddgelert, 14 miles, Criccieth, 7 miles, with its castle, shops, restaurants, pebble beach and animal farm. For the nearest pub/restaurant, you will find The Goat in Bryncir (5.5 miles away). A great base for a family or group wanting to explore the wonders of Snowdonia.
Three bedrooms: Two double bedrooms and one single bedroom. Bed linen provided. Please bring your own towels.
Bathroom features an electric shower over the bath, hand wash basin and WC.
Farmhouse kitchen with fitted units with electric hob, fridge, microwave and oil Stanley oven. Dining table and seating for 5 people and comfortable seating. Doors leading to decking area.
Lounge has a large leather sofa, real flame electric fire and a 28" TV with a Sky box.
Utility room will be great for bike storage, freezer & washing machine.
Separate WC and hand wash basin downstairs.
Enclosed garden surrounding the house. Spectacular mountain views, small decking area and small wendy house.
Ample private parking.
Oil central heating throughout.
Electricity inclusive.
One well behaved pet allowed.
Extra: Phone signal is very weak here. Pay phone available for emergency calls.
A single £27 Booking Fee applies to all bookings and is included in the price shown. Bookings for 2 weeks will be eligible for a £27 Multi-week Saving. Please claim this in the 'Additional Information' box that appears during the booking process and we will adjust the total before deducting the money from your card.
We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). This has already been selected for you when you book, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
