About Albion Aberteifi

The newly opened Albion Aberteifi sits on the riverside in the vibrant town of Cardigan, West Wales.
The accomplished team at fforest have created a true sense of place, reflecting its heritage, culture, language and personality.
Within only 4 months of opening, the efforts of the hotel team were rewarded with The Times and
The Sunday Times naming the Albion ‘The Best Place to Stay in Wales 2023’.

Each individually crafted en-suite room has a river view and the essence of a captain’s cabin: reclaimed wood lined walls, floors made from 150 years old oak, king-size beds, custom-made furniture and hand-picked reclaimed fixtures, Welsh wool blankets and textiles woven to traditional designs.

Breakfast in the resident lounge is included.

The downstairs bar area is perfect for a coffee & cake during the day and a cocktail by night. Yr Odyn (The Kiln) restaurant offers dinner on Friday, Saturday and special occasions in the first floor guest lounge. During Spring 2023 it will relocate to a gorgeous newly-created dedicated space in the adjoining riverside warehouse. An easy stroll away, just the other side of the river, you'll find our Pizzatipi restaurant and Smwglin pub.
