About Abbey Farm Caravan & Camping
Abbey Farm caravan and camping park is a small, peaceful and quiet family-run site set on a working farm located in the picturesque village of Rhuddlan, near Rhyl, Denbighshire, North Wales.
The site offers spacious tourer pitches, tent pitches or a stay in one of three bespoke luxury self catering glamping pods.
Surrounded by fields, views of the Clwydian mountain ranges and animals happily grazing, it is ideal for families and couples who want to get away from it all. Only a 10 minute walk into the village where you can visit Rhuddlan Castle or explore the many cycle and walkways with plenty of cafes, pubs and eating places to enjoy.
With Rhyl and Prestatyn beach only a 10 minute drive away or Snowdon mountain ranges an hour away, it is an ideal location to explore what North Wales has to offer.
Abbey Farm has a rich history being the location of a Dominican Friary and still today, you will see artefacts of the friary in the Abbey’s buildings. The caravan and camping park itself is set on a field which is of national importance to Wales being a Scheduled Ancient Monument – Part of site of Norman Borough - so it is a real unique place to stay!
A dog friendly site with the family’s sheep dogs, Buster and Jess, always ready for some playtime. You will often be greeted by wandering chickens with their freshly laid eggs for sale daily.
The site is open from 1 April to 31 October and facilities include three shower/toilet blocks, 16 amp electric hook ups, 4 water points, 3 chemical disposal points, communal area with double sink, fridge and freezer with a local laundry service available.
Seasonal pitches 2021 £1500 (electric metered) casual pitches £30 per night (includes electric), tents £15 per night (electric £4 per night) and pods TBA.
