About Nant Gwrtheyrn
Nant Gwrtheyrn Centre is a Welsh Language Centre providing Welsh for Adults courses, located in a listed Victorian quarry village. The exhibition in the Heritage Centre interprets the development of this unique site as well as the history of the Welsh language. Visit the quarryman's cottage to see what life would have been like for a quarrying family in 1910.
The centre offers group accommodation for 58 guests in en-suite rooms with four self catering cottage to sleep a further 18 and a new function room offering a fantastic venue for weddings and conferences.
Visit the homely café for home cooked meals or snacks or explore the site's private beach, coastal and woodland walks. A new road allows coach access and car parking(up to 80 vehicles) is provided in the village.
