What: Vegan cafe known for fusion dishes and hearty staples. 

Serves: Buddha bowls, tofish and chips, sophisticated salads, soup, burgers and more.

Fully vegetarian places to eat

Falafel Corner

What: Vegan falafel takeaway.

Serves: Filled pittas, wraps and salad bowls, topped with crispy falafel, hummus and deli-style mezze board options.

 

Vegetarian Food Studio

115-117 Penarth Road

What: Family-run vegetarian Indian restaurant and takeaway.

Serves: A huge range of North Indian, South Indian and oriental dishes, including a great selection of vegan curries, Indian sweets and lassi. 

Independents with great vegan and vegetarian options

Although these eateries aren't totally vegan or fully vegetarian, they're worth checking out for their range of decent veggie and vegan options.

Hard Lines: A coffee shop in Canton with plenty of delicious vegan sweet and savory options. Makes great coffee with oat milk too.

Hot Pot Spot: Chinese restaurant specialising in hotpot. Has a vegan menu and preps vegan food separately.

In Cafe: Chinese restaurant and takeaway with vegan versions of the classics (aromatic crispy duck, sweet and sour chicken balls and Szechuan roast pork to name a few).

New York Deli: American-inspired cafe with a large range of vegan sandwiches, dogs, bagels and hoagies - all stuffed to the brim with fresh ingredients.
