About Yr Hen Swyddfa, Craflwyn National Trust
Yr Hen Swyddfa is one in a row of National Trust Holidays cottages in the old stable block of Craflwyn Hall, Beddgelert, Eryri (Snowdonia) at the heart of a 200-acre estate in the care of the National Trust. The stable block backs onto woodland, and there are lots of walks from the cottage’s back door.
For the adventurous Eryri is perfect for hiking and climbing, ascend Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Challenge yourself with various climbing routes and scrambles on mountains like Tryfan. Try kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding, discover a variety of walking trails, from leisurely strolls through villages like Betws-y-Coed to challenging hikes through ancient woodlands. Enjoy unique indoor activities like the Zip World Betws-y-Coed and the Bounce Below experience in Llechwedd slate caverns.
The cosy cottage for four people is on two levels, with light, fresh walls, quarry-tiled floors and a huge slate fireplace. The living room, dining room and kitchen are on the ground floor, with a staircase leading up to two en-suite bedrooms, one double and one twin, on the first floor.
