Graig Wen glamping in Snowdonia has an amazing location set in 45 private acres of the National Park near Barmouth and Dolgellau. For glamping holidays Wales, Graig Wen is perfect for a romantic wild escape or family glamping adventure – our yurts, shepherd's hut and bell tent are close to the coast and surrounded by breath-taking mountain and woodland scenery. Guests are blown away by the views of the Mawddach estuary and tranquillity as well as the many activities and attractions nearby.
Walk down our (steepish) track straight onto the scenic Mawddach cycle Trail. The mountains are all around, with sandy beaches, castles, steam trains, zip lines and bike trails close by. Whether you prefer a cosy yurt, beautifully crafted shepherd’s hut or secluded bell tent, Graig Wen offers families, couples and solo explorers a range of quirky and quality accommodation.
We are proud to have been recommended by media including The Guardian and Sunday Times and won awards for our green ethos and the Go North Wales Best Glamping and Camping Site 2021.
We live on site and you will find a warm welcome with great advice about the best places to eat out and what not to miss so you can make the most of your short break. Order freshly baked croissants for breakfast, takeaway barista coffee and buy local craft beers from our small shop so you can relax around the camp fire.
Our Snowdonia accommodation is dog friendly and it’s easy to bring your four legged friend with wonderful walks from the door step and plenty of dog friendly beaches, cafes and pubs.
